Did you know that Mavic Mini is no Longer in Production, What are the Choices now? Mavic Mini? Mavic Mini 2? Mini SE? Wait for Mavic Mini 3?

The Drone that Changed the Rules of the Game some years ago, is NO LONGER in Production.

If you go to https://DJI.com and look for the Mavic Mini, you'll see the following:  

 
 


 The Mavic Mini is no longer in production. Oh no!!! Why did they do that? 

 
 Because, now they have better choices in the market. At the moment of this post, the choices are the Mavic Mini 2, and the Mini SE, because the Mavic Mini 3 is a rumor and speculation. Some “experts” believe that there is a Release Date; before Christmas 2021.  

 
 Then, let's compare 12 specs of what is in the market today:  

 
 1. Max Speed: Mini SE- 17kms / Mavic Mini 2 17kms, as tested by the manufacturer, in no wind's conditions. 

 
 

2. Raw Pictures: Mini SE (No) / Mavic Mini 2 (Yes) 

 
 

3. Mega Pixels: Mini SE, 12 / Mavic Mini 2, 12 (Same) 

 
 

4. Video: Mini SE, up to 2.7K @ 30fps / Mavic Mini 2, 2.7K @ 60fps and 4K @ 30fps.  


 5. Controller: Mini SE similar to Mavic Mini Original/ Mavic Mini 2 Similar to Mavic Air 2 

 
 

6. Battery: Mini SE uses the same battery as Mavic Mini 2, but max fly minutes 30 for SE and 31 for Mini 2. 

 
 

7. Video Transmission Distance: Mini SE 4 km / Mavic Mini 2 10KM 

 
 

8. Fuselage Weigh: Mini SE <249 grams / Mavic Mini 2 <238 grams 

 
 

9. Wind Resistance: Mini SE Level 5 up to 37.8kph  / Mavic Mini 2, Same as the Mini SE 

 
 

10. Price: I believe this is the “Reason” why they stop making the Original Mavic Mini. Mini SE $299USD (1 Battery) or $429 (More Fly Combo 3 Bat.) / Mavic Mini 2 $449 (1 Battery) or $599USD (More Fly Combo 3 Bat.) *(Prices could change at any time) 


 11. Active Track: Mini SE, no / Mavic Mini 2, no  

 
 

12. Collision Avoidance: We hope the “DJI Mini 3”, if the rumors are true, comes with Obstacle/Crash Avoidance. As of the day of this post, no DJI Mini comes with it. 

 
 Let's finish with this. The Original Mini was more expensive than the Mini SE, and the SE has better specs, it is faster and more resistant to winds. You should buy in accordance with your budget and necessities. If you do not have budget problems, and your necessities are higher, you should consider the Mavic Air 2S or go to DJI.com and look for one with the specifications you need.

MacWheel LNE-16 Electric Bike eBike, Pros and Cons, the good and bad. Electric Bike Review.

Note: This post does not have the intention to sell anything. This is for information purposes only.  On the Amazon Prime Day in year 2020, I bought a couple of E-Bikes, from different brands. I will talk for the one I consider the best one, and what I've made to make it more reliable. That one is the MacWheel LNE-16. First the pros, the good things about it: -They say that you can go at 15.5mph (24.94 km/h), and I tested that with the APP Speedometer (69) from Cool Niks, and it's true, you can ride at 15.5mph Full Electric, without pedaling, or 18mph (28.97 km/h) with assistant pedaling. You can also test it with Google Maps APP. -The 250W Motor, can support more weight than what the specs say, but more weight uses more battery. I tested it with 145lbs with person and cargo, using assisted pedaling for 2 hours non-stop trip, flat road. Then I tested with 175lbs, for 1.7 hours non-stop trip.
